Hailstorm damages solar panels in Mohmand and Khyber districts

Heavy rain and an intense hailstorm, with egg-sized hailstones, struck areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mohmand and Khyber districts overnight. The storm damaged standing crops, solar panels and other property. In the Gambati area of Ambar tehsil, several solar panels installed on rooftops and agricultural land were damaged. No casualties were reported.

Severe hailstorm with large hailstones. The number of panels damaged and the extent of the damage were not reported.
