Battery storage is the technology insurers, lenders and fire services ask about most, and the one with the least shared data. This page is what the register holds today: every published battery storage entry, counted by year, country, stage of life and what failed. Every entry names its sources, and the entries written from public reporting name the site and the companies exactly as the reporting names them.

What this page cannot tell you yet
Public reporting on battery fires rarely names the cell chemistry, the enclosure type or the state of charge, so the register does not claim them. Where a fire service or regulator states one, the entry carries it and says who said it.
If you work on battery safety or standards and want a field added, tell us what it should be. We would rather define it with the industry than alone.
