Photovoltaic fire on a house in Castelfranco Emilia contained by firefighters

Firefighters attended a fire in a photovoltaic installation on a residential building in via Cagnola, Castelfranco Emilia, on 25 September 2026 at about 12.30. The fire was put out and no injuries were recorded. A crew from the Vignola detachment, with a tank pump and module, was supported by an aerial ladder sent from Modena so that work at height could be done safely. The fire did not spread to the rest of the building, which has a timber roof. Firefighters then cleared the site and made the area safe.
