A wind turbine is reported to have caught fire on the afternoon of Wednesday 7 June 2017 at the Salt Fork Wind Facility in Donley County, Texas. Officials with Southern Company, which the report says owns the turbine, said the fire started at about 5.30pm. Employees at the plant called first responders, who contained the fire. No injuries were reported. A small area of the plant was taken offline as a preemptive safety measure while the cause was investigated.
