The cause of the explosion has not been reported.

  1. A substation explosion can interrupt nearby institutional loads at short notice, so operators should keep outage contacts current.
  2. Where video shows a large release but the initiating fault is unknown, preserve recordings and protection data for later review.
  3. Public updates should separate what is confirmed from what is only reported on social media.
