A news report says a transformer at the Trejo substation in Silao caught fire and interrupted electricity supply in some areas of Irapuato. CFE said supply had been restored to 79.9 per cent of the affected areas. The report does not say when the fire started, what caused it, whether anyone was injured, or whether the remaining supply was later restored.
