A wind turbine on the Ohio Northern University campus in Ada, Ohio, caught fire in the early hours of Friday 26 March 2021. The local fire department was called after the blaze was reported at around 4:31am. The turbine, one of three on the university campus, is located at the junction of Klingler Road and County Road 50. Nearby roads and a pedestrian path were temporarily closed while emergency crews worked to control the fire. Seven vehicles, including a patrol car and an ambulance, responded.
