What happened

A transformer on the 1200 block of Hiland Avenue in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania caught fire around 12:30 a.m. on a Saturday. The Coraopolis Fire Department responded and posted video showing flames coming from the top of the transformer. Duquesne Light Company's outage map showed that 228 customers lost power as a result of the fire. No injuries were reported in the coverage. The cause of the fire and the extent of equipment damage were not disclosed in the source material.
