What happened
Crews responded to a fire at Half Moon Industrial Park in Weirton on Sunday morning after a call just before 10:30 a.m. Firefighters found that a series of solar panels at the Fanti USA building had caught fire. The fire damaged part of the roof and the solar structures. The fire was extinguished in about 45 minutes. No one was inside the building at the time. Assistance was provided by the Steubenville Fire Department, Weirton Police Department, State Patrol and Follansbee Fire Department.
