A transformer explosion in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania cut power on a Friday evening, with more than 600 customers off supply at one point. Many of the outages were reported along Verona Road. Duquesne Light said crews were brought in immediately and reported that power had been restored just before 8pm the same evening.
