Transformer explosion damages Lynnwood substation in Pretoria

A transformer exploded at an electrical substation in Lynnwood, Pretoria, South Africa, and a fire followed. The City of Tshwane’s electricity department was probing the extent of the damage. Tshwane Emergency Services doused the blaze on Saturday night. The cause of the explosion had not been determined. City officials were set to begin repairs soon.
