What happened
On 22 May 2020, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service attended a fire in an inverter on a solar panel farm at East Langford, Kilkhampton, Bude. Two appliances from Bude, one from Holsworthy and a wholetime officer were mobilised. Crews were assisted by Western Power and the site maintenance technician to isolate the electrical connection to the inverter, and the scene was made safe. The service said there were no further details. Cause, injuries and the extent of damage were not reported.
