A transformer in the industrial zone of Yozgat centre exploded, and a fire then broke out. The fire spread from the transformer to a nearby grassy area. People nearby raised the alarm, and fire crews from Yozgat Municipality arrived quickly, brought the flames under control and put the fire out. Cooling work was then carried out. The report does not say whether anyone was hurt or whether power supply was affected. An investigation into the cause of the fire was opened.
