Incipient fire reaches residential solar equipment in Arapiraca

On the afternoon of 22 September 2026, an incipient fire was reported at a residence on Rua Santa Cecília, in the Canafístula neighbourhood of Arapiraca, in the Agreste of Alagoas. The fire service said the fire reached equipment in a solar energy system installed at the property. The owner had already brought the flames under control before a crew of three firefighters arrived. The crew assessed the scene and advised the person responsible for the property on safety measures. The cause, which equipment was affected and any damage were not reported.
