A fire broke out at a DTE Energy electrical substation at East Warren and Conner on Detroit's east side. About 7,000 customers lost power. No injuries were reported at the substation. DTE Energy reported the fire had been put out and expected about half of the affected customers to be restored by midnight and all power restored by 6am the following morning. The cause was not reported.
