Substation fire disrupts power in Kyiv’s Dniprovskyi district

A fire was reported at a substation in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv on 18 April 2026. The Kyiv City State Administration said the fire left parts of the district without power and delayed tram and trolleybus services. Emergency crews were reported to have arrived to put out the fire and start restoration. The cause, the extent of damage, and whether supply had been restored were not reported.
