Thousands of people in Nakasi and Davuilevu Housing were still without power after an Energy Fiji Limited transformer blew in Dilkusha on the morning of 9 April 2019. Energy Fiji Limited said its technical staff were working to fix the issue and gave no time for restoration. A separate feeder trip the same morning also left Koronivia in Nausori without power, and the company had not said when supply there would return.
