Trade press reported in May 2024 that a GE Vernova wind turbine collapsed at a 75MW wind farm in Lithuania, leaving the site with lost production according to Enefit Green. The report says a Lithuanian state-owned renewables developer is seeking a payout over the collapse, and notes the wind farm uses turbines from GE's 5.X platform. The date of the collapse, the site name, the cause and whether anyone was hurt were not reported.
