Safety record for a portfolio
Every site in a portfolio, checked against the register. One link to send to a broker, an underwriter or a lender. Free.
For owners and operators
Insurers price battery, solar and wind portfolios with very little data, so a good record is hard to prove. This gives you an independent page that shows each of your sites against the published record, with today's date on it. Attach the link to a renewal, a refinancing or a planning application.
For underwriters, brokers and lenders
Check any portfolio you are asked to cover or finance: paste the schedule of sites and see what the published record holds for each one. On the record page you can ask to be told when the register records a new incident for those technologies.
What the record shows
- Every site, with the register's entries that name it, each with its own headline and sources so it can be checked.
- For context, the register's counts for the same technologies and countries.
- The date it was checked. The page is rebuilt each time it is opened, so it stays current.
What it does not show
- Unreported incidents. The register is built from published reporting. The verified version lets the owner add a declared section.
- A rate. The register does not hold the installed capacity of every site at risk, so the record gives counts and never an "expected" number.
- A rating. It is a record of facts, not a grade. Nobody can pay to change or remove an entry. A correction is free for anyone, with the evidence.
The verified version
For owners who want more: a declared section listing incidents that were never reported (anonymised in the register's own data), the site list confirmed by the owner, a refresh every quarter and a "verified" mark on the record. £1,500 a year per portfolio. Write to George, the register's editor, at editor@energyincidentregister.com.
