On Sunday afternoon a fire was reported on the roof of a flat building on the Spatterstraat in Wormer, in solar panels. The published report does not say how the fire started, how far it spread, or whether anyone was hurt.

  1. A fire on a roof fitted with solar panels can leave live circuits after the building supply is isolated.
  2. Crews attending a block of flats need a clear way to find panel locations and isolation points.
  3. A short early report is not a technical finding: cause and damage should be confirmed before any wider conclusion is drawn.
