What happened
Solar panels on the roof of a five-story Bank of America office building in Plano caught fire on the morning of 29 July 2022. The two-alarm fire was reported at about 10:20 a.m. on the 7100 block of Corporate Drive. Dozens of panels were installed on the roof, and a number of them were charred and destroyed. The building was evacuated and no injuries were reported. It was not immediately clear whether the fire caused any damage to the building itself.
