Plans and pricing

The register stays free. A plan adds the full record behind each entry, the export and the tables.

The Energy Incident Register is a data contributor to the PV Fire Intelligence Network (PV-FIN), led by BRE.

The register's own rule: every entry cites its sources, and a correction is free for anyone.

Founding partner offer. The first twenty customers get 30% off, with the price locked for 12 months. Enter the code FOUNDING30 at checkout.

Enterprise details

What is in the register today. Loading the current figures... Prices are set for what the register holds today, not what it will hold in a year.

We publish this because it decides whether a plan is worth it to you. The free register covers every published entry. A verified record is built for an entry only when public sources support the detail, so the paid layer is younger and smaller than the register itself and grows every day. If the coverage for your technology is not there yet, wait, and take the free alerts in the meantime.

Enterprise and API licence

The verified dataset in your own systems: bulk data, an API and a licence, from £12,000 a year. Request a proposal and a sample extract: email your organisation, the tier of interest and how you plan to use the data, and a sample extract for your segment and a short proposal come back within two working days.

The API

The free API at /api/v1 serves public entries only, up to 50 records per call, attribution required. The Enterprise API adds the verified record endpoints, up to 500 records per call with offset paging, authenticated with a licence key sent in the x-api-key header. Benchmarks are on the benchmarks page for signed-in users, not over the API.

Why pay when the register is free?

The free register tells you what happened, as the public reporting tells it. The paid records turn that into structured data: who built, integrated and operated the asset as fields you can filter and count, what failed and why, the failure mode, capacity and chemistry, age at incident, downtime, loss estimate, insurance and regulatory action, and every source, with each record carrying its verification status. They are built from public sources (fire service reports, regulator filings, court records, operator statements, trade press) and cross-checked against each other rather than lifted from one report. That is what underwriting, lending, due diligence and procurement decisions need.

Questions

How do I pay?

By card through Stripe, in pounds. Annual plans can also be paid by invoice: email info@energyincidentregister.com. Prices exclude VAT where it applies.

Can I cancel?

Yes, at any time from your account page. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.

What does "verified" mean?

Each paid record carries a status: unverified (single public claim), single source (one authoritative source), or verified (two or more independent sources agree). The methodology page explains the process and the accuracy disclaimer explains the limits.

Does paying change the free register?

No. The free register stays free and is edited the same way regardless of who subscribes.

Can I use the data in my own models or products?

Analyst and Team plans cover internal use inside your organisation. Products, models sold to others, and redistribution need an Enterprise licence. See the data licence.

How is the data verified?

Each record carries a status. "Verified" means two or more independent sources agree on the key facts. See the methodology and the accuracy disclaimer.

Can we use it in models we sell?

Yes, on the Data partner tier, with attribution. Enterprise and Enterprise Plus cover internal use only.

What about incidents we know of that are not in the register?

Tell us. Enterprise customers can request verification of specific incidents, and can submit anonymised entries to the free register like anyone else.

Who owns the data we contribute?

You keep your rights. The register holds a licence to publish the anonymised entry. Verified records are built only from public sources.
