What happened
Fire Rescue Victoria was called at about 2.27pm on 13 February 2026 to a solar box fire at a food distribution warehouse in Dandenong South. Firefighters found a small fire involving an inverter and cabling for a solar system. FRV and CFA crews declared the incident under control at 2.42pm and stayed for several hours to isolate the solar panels and make the scene safe. The cause was not reported.
