Check a certificate

Enter the check code printed on a training certificate from the Energy Incident Register. The page shows the course, the date, the study hours and the learning outcomes, so an employer, a client or a professional body can see what was completed.

What a certificate means

Every course on the register is written from published incident entries, each linking to its sources. A certificate is issued only when every lesson's questions have been passed at 75 percent or more. The certificate carries the study hours and the learning outcomes. The hours may be recorded as self-directed continuing professional development under the holder's own professional body's rules. The register does not hold a formal CPD accreditation. Each certificate is also available as an Open Badge, an open standard that can be verified against this site, and can be added to a LinkedIn profile. The syllabus for every course is on the training page.
