API

The free API at /api/v1 serves public entries only, up to 50 records per call, attribution required. The Enterprise API adds the verified record endpoints, up to 500 records per call with offset paging, authenticated with a licence key sent in the x-api-key header. Benchmarks are delivered as weekly files, not over the API.

Questions

How is the data verified?

Each record carries a status. "Verified" means two or more independent sources agree on the key facts. See the methodology and the accuracy disclaimer.

Can we use it in models we sell?

Yes, on the Data partner tier, with attribution. Enterprise and Enterprise Plus cover internal use only.

What about incidents we know of that are not in the register?

Tell us. Enterprise customers can request verification of specific incidents, and can submit anonymised entries to the free register like anyone else.

Who owns the data we contribute?

You keep your rights. The register holds a licence to publish the anonymised entry. Verified records are built only from public sources.
